Before Registering, Go through the following:
Regulation 1 – Membership Enlistment of the Nigerian Neighborhood Watch and Community Service Corps and in pursuant of Section 8 (1) of the Constitution of the Better Life for Community and Neighborhood Support Initiative otherwise known as Nigerian Neighbourhood Watch and Community Service Corps which empower the organization to source for levy from members of the organization. It should be noted that any money paid into the Bank Account of the Better Life for Community and Neighborhood Support Initiative otherwise known as Nigerian Neighbourhood Watch and Community Service Corps is non-refundable. As agreed by members present in the 22nd April, 2024 meeting held at the National HQ of NNWCSC, the membership enlistment process is as follows:
- Registration – Intending members are to fill the membership enlistment form on the website of NNWCSC after payment of non-refundable N5,000 (the amount which is subject to changes based on the decision of the Board of Trustee members).
- Screening of intending members: Any intending member who has filled the Membership Enlistment Form will be screened via:
a. The National Identity Management Commission
b. Traditional Rulers in his/her area of residence
c. The D.P.O and O.C DSS in his/her area of residence
d. Community Leaders in his/her area of residence

Training/Exams: Training, Seminars and Workshops will be arranged for new and old members at the discretion of the members of the Board of Trustees and at a cost agreed by Board Members per each participants. The training and seminars are to educate members on the roles expected of Neighbourhood Watchers in his/her respective community and to also introduce members to the scope of work of NNWCSC Members in synergy and collaboration with the Military, Police, Department of State Service, National Assembly, State Houses of Assembly, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Custom Service, Nigeria Correctional Service, Recognized Training Institutes, National Union of Road Transport Workers, Community Leaders, Labour Unions, Registered Human Right Organisations, Nigerian Union of Journalists, Market Leaders, Civil Liberty Organisation, International Organisations and other Security Agencies.

Identity Card: Successful intending members who have been screened and examined based on what they are taught during training and exams will be issued Identity Card at a cost to be determined by the Board of Trustees members and Management of NNWCSC.

Membership Certificate: Members who have been issued with Identity Card will further proceed to obtain Membership Certificate at a cost agreed by Trustee Members and such certificate is what will certify such member as a bonafide member of NNWCSC, a copy of such certificate will be sent to all Security Agencies for the recognition of such member in his/her residence area.

Appointment Letter: Appointment Letter will be issued to certified members to clearly define the roles expected of such member as will be determined by the National Executive Council. A copy of such appointment letter will be sent to Commanders and Zonal Commanders which have jurisdiction over the area of residence of such member. The above regarded as regulation one (1) of the NNWCSC.
